Are there showers and toilets on site?

Yes, there are. Showers are available at £2 a time, the key is available from the bailiff.

If I’m fishing, can I bring a non-fishing guest along?

Yes, guests are welcome at £3.00 each.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Yes, well behaved dogs are permitted, they must be on a lead at all times and owners must clear up after them.

Am I able to come to the site before I fish to look round?

Yes, however we ask for you to park in the car park at the top of the site and walk round so not to disturb fisherman.

Am I able to come and just walk around the site?

Yes, our Nature Walks are now open – three guilded trails round the Billingford Lakes site. Purchase tickets from the catering vehicle in the main car park.

How do I pay?

The bailiff will come and see you once you have found a swim.

Is there a syndicate?

No, however you can become a season ticket holder £450 or winter ticket holder £225.

Which are the main carp lakes?

Lakes 2, 7, 10 and 11 on the site map

What time can I day fish?

Currently 7am – 7pm.  Gates are locked at 7pm

When does a 24hour ticket run from?

From when you arrive and start fishing.

Do you have a tackle shop on site or food?

Yes, food and drink can be purchased from our Lakeside Cafe, located near the site entrance. Adjacent to this is a well stocked tackle shop.

Are children allowed to fish?

Yes under 16’s are half price but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Can we swim in the lakes?

No swimming is not permitted due to the deep water and cold water in lakes.

Am I able to park my caravan or motorhome next to a swim?

No, all caravans, motorhomes and large tents must be parked at the caravan park at the top of the site.  Only cars, small vans, bivvys or small tents are permitted near swims.  Bookings for our caravan site is on Billingford Lakes and Country Park, Dereham, Norfolk – Updated 2025 prices | Pitchup.com

If I am coming to the caravan site can I fish and walk round the site included in the booking?

Our nature walks and walking round the lakes is included in your caravan booking, however is you wish to fish you will need to pay the bailiff separately.  No need to book, just find a swim, start fishing and pay the bailiff cash or card on the bank.
