Welcome to Billingford Lakes

Billingford Fishing Lakes provides a picturesque spot in the heart of Norfolk for some fantastic fishing surrounded by
beautiful, natural wildlife. Set just off the Fakenham road (A1067), it is easily accessible and offers a tranquil
environment for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The site is open seven days a week with over 100 pegs available with parking next to the swims; look no further than
Billingford Fishing Lakes for the best fishing in Norfolk.

Fishing lakes

The fishing lakes vary in size and each have shallow marginal shelves with depths ranging from eight to twelve foot out from the bank to a 30 yard cast. Species include Roach, Perch, Eels, Pike, Tench and Bream throughout the lakes; in the first lake, a prolific head of Common and Mirror Carp in the 10-25lb bracket can be found. Some 35lb+ specimens have also been reported with a 40.5lb Mirror Carp caught in June 2016. There is a new match fishing lake with 26 jettys on the site.

The River Wensum

The site incorporates a one mile stretch of the dynamic, fast-flowing River Wensum as well as a selection of eleven different lakes and ponds on the 150 acre site. The visitor centre will be opening in the future providing a restaurant serving teas, coffees, cakes and light meals

Nature Walks

Explore our footpath routes which take you past our lakes, the Wensum and through woodlood. Our three guided walks allow exploration of our tranquil lakes and wildlife.  Local wildlife is signposted along the route to aid identification.
